The neighborly promise
This covers both the Rogue Valley Farm Stands website and mobile app. Last updated August 27, 2026.
The short version
We don't make you sign in, we don't collect personal information, and we don't track your location. There are no ads and we never sell data about you. The app works as a friendly guide, nothing more.
The Rogue Valley Farm Stands map and app are a small, community labor of love that helps neighbors find backyard stands, honor-box eggs, roadside honey, and farm trails across Southern Oregon's Rogue Valley. You can reach us any time at hello@roguevalleyfarmstands.com.
To make the app pleasant to use, a few small preferences are saved only on your own phone and are never sent to us:
This information lives in your device's local storage. Deleting the app removes it. We cannot see it.
The app loads the public farm-stand directory, farm trails, and the community “Fresh” board from our website. These requests include only the ordinary technical details every internet connection needs (such as a temporary IP address handled by our hosting provider). We use this to serve the content and keep the service running. We do not build advertising or marketing profiles from it.
Our website and API are hosted on Vercel, and content is delivered over standard secure connections. These providers process only the technical request data described above, on our behalf, to keep the service online.
The app is family-friendly and is not directed at children under 13. Because we don't collect personal information from anyone, we don't knowingly collect it from children.
If we ever change how the app or site works in a way that affects this policy, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Given how little data is involved, we expect changes to be rare.
